The date of the first Euromillions Superdraw of 2016 is yet to be announced at the time of writing. I am however going to be bold and predict that this will happen before too long. Let me state for the record that I have no contacts or sources with the lottery operator. I am basing my prediction simply on analysis of existing data – and no, it is not as scientific as it sounds.
Hopefully I can make things easier for fans worldwide, who wait for the chance to play Euromillions Superdraw for that enticing €100 million jackpot prize.
Origins of Euromillions Superdraws
This special event draw was first introduced in 2007 and has become a permanent fixture on the calendar, although the dates of draws are not pre-determined. As a rule though, there are two and sometimes even three super draws per year. A special event fund is used to boost the existing prize pot, so tickets cost the same as in regular draws.
Looking back to 2015, the first superdraw took place in mid March and there were two more carried out in that year. The last one of the previous year was conducted Friday the 6th of November and this is a key variable in my prediction for the upcoming event:
If the pattern from the previous year holds, then I would expect the the first Euromillions lottery superdraw to be announced in the coming week and conducted either on Tuesday the 15th of March 2016 or the following Friday, which is the 18th – and yes, you may quote me on that!”
#Scoop: The first #Euromillions Superdraw will most likely take place mid-March.

Many hold the opinion that only players living in the UK are eligible to participate. This is wrong, there are some draw events for Euro Millions which are exclusive to the United Kingdom, such as the Millionaire raffle. But the 100 million euro drawing is offered up for all participating countries and the rest of the world can buy tickets online and have a go at winning the big one.
